iOS 10.3.2 - BarleyGroup Comments.

Apple iOS 10.3.2 is a deceptively big release as it is crammed full of important security fixes, something which is reflected in its file size which is fairly large for an update without new features.

Like previous iOS 10 releases, iOS 10.3.2 is compatible with the iPhone 5 or later, iPad 4 or later and the 6th generation iPod touch or later. The update can be manually triggered by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update, but you should be notified automatically.

The size of iOS 10.3.2 varies depending on which device you own, typically weighing in at between 150-200MB.

We advise clients with iPhones to update as soon as they can, though particularly nervous updaters may wish to wait another 24/48 hours to be 100% sure none of the minor issues reported snowball into bigger problems.

Future iOS Updates?

Apple has already released the first iOS 10.3.3 beta for developers. This again looks set to focus on fixes not features, perhaps some which were too late to be squeezed into iOS 10.3.2. Should that be the case, expect a release sooner rather than later.

In the meantime Apple continues to gear up for the release of iOS 11 alongside up to four new iPhones. But expect the current speed of iOS updates to mean we reach iOS 10.4 or even iOS 10.5 before their predicted debut in September 2017.
